What is included in your gel pedicure?
Valentyna removes previous gel polish where needed, shortens and reshapes the toenails, and carefully prepares the cuticle area using an e-file and specialist bits. The cuticles are neatly trimmed with scissors, followed by gel polish in your chosen colour.
The full appointment also includes dry exfoliation of the feet and heels, followed by moisturising products to leave the skin feeling softer and well cared for.

What is a dry e-file pedicure?
This pedicure is performed without soaking your feet in water. Alongside the nail and cuticle work, Valentyna uses a specialised foot-care machine with a disc and disposable abrasive discs of different grits.
These are used to carefully remove dry, dead and rough skin from the heels and other areas of the feet that need attention. Moisturising products are used to care for the skin.
Full pedicure or gel polish on toes?
Both appointments include toenail and cuticle care with fresh gel polish. The difference is whether you also want exfoliation and moisturising of the feet and heels.

Expect neatly shaped toenails at an appropriate length, carefully groomed cuticles and an even gel polish finish. The full pedicure also leaves the skin of the feet and heels feeling smoother and softer, with less dry, rough skin.
Gel polish typically maintains its appearance for around 3–4 weeks, depending on nail growth and individual characteristics. How long the skin stays soft varies with its starting condition, daily activities and home care.

Before your pedicure
Please contact Valentyna before booking if you have damaged or painful toenails, lifting of the natural nail, deep skin cracks, bleeding or other concerns about your feet. Treatment cannot be carried out over open wounds or signs of infection or inflammation. Assessment and medical advice may be needed before an appointment can go ahead.
Looking after your feet between appointments
Wear comfortable shoes that do not squeeze your toes or put excessive pressure on the nails. Keep an eye on toenail length, particularly when wearing closed shoes, and arrange an adjustment if the nails begin pressing against your footwear.
Moisturise your feet and heels regularly to help maintain softness. Avoid aggressively removing hard skin at home, as this can irritate or damage the skin.
Moisturising products may leave your feet feeling slippery after treatment. Take care when walking, particularly during the first evening.
When to return
Valentyna usually recommends returning approximately every 3–4 weeks, depending on toenail growth and the needs of your skin. Regular moisturising helps maintain the results between appointments.
