This is a maintenance appointment for existing hard gel nails, not a new full set. Valentyna carefully refines the existing hard gel, checks any areas that need attention, restores the structure and shape, completes detailed manicure work, and finishes with gel polish.

Why choose infills instead of starting again?
Hard gel infills are usually the right choice when the existing hard gel is still in suitable condition. Instead of removing everything and starting again, the grown-out area is refreshed and the structure is rebalanced. This keeps the nails looking neat while helping maintain strength and shape between full sets.
If the previous product is not suitable, such as acrylic or incompatible work from another salon, Valentyna may recommend removal and starting fresh.

Hard gel infills are for clients who already have hard gel on their nails. If the existing set was done elsewhere, Valentyna will check the product and condition first. If it is suitable hard gel, an infill can usually be carried out. If the product is acrylic, incompatible, lifting badly, or not safe to maintain, removal and a fresh set may be recommended.

Maintenance every 3 to 4 weeks
Most clients return every 3 to 4 weeks, depending on nail growth, lifestyle and aftercare. As the natural nail grows, the hard gel structure moves forward. Regular infills help keep that structure balanced, maintaining strength and refreshing the shape.
With regular infills, extension length can often be gradually reduced as your natural nails grow underneath. Over time, this can help you move towards maintaining your own natural nail length under hard gel. Valentyna can advise on a suitable maintenance interval for your nails.
